Meet The Wood County Humane Society’s Featured Adoptable Animals
Hello there! My name is Monarch. I am a female, white and gray tabby. I am about 2 years old and have been at the shelter since February 13, 2019. You may be asking what a fun-loving girl like me is doing at a shelter. Well let me tell you! I was a stray. Meee ohhhh my! It was pretty rough out there so I am really looking forward to being at home with you. I am not the biggest fan of other critters but that could all change when I get adopted and have a forever home.
My name is Dakota and I can’t wait to meet you! I am a 10 year old, spayed female with a sable coat. My size would be considered large. I have been at the shelter since April 7th, 2019 and am ready to find my forever home. I have the biggest wiggly butt when I get excited and boy, do I get excited about treats! Tummy rubs and long naps are a few of my favorite things.

Check out all of the adoptable pets available in your area. Help us make Wood County safer more humane.

Your donation helps provide the resources necessary to care for and find great homes for our animals.

There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer and help with local events as well as right here at the shelter.
