Members Make it Happen!
Members play a large role by supporting the WCHS mission in the following ways with their paid membership:

Providing education to Wood County citizens on humane treatment of animals.

Assistance with community cats through education, assistance with humane traps, and discounted spay and neuter services.

Advising and assisting pet owners by providing referrals and food and litter assistance.

Providing a clean, healthy shelter environment for animals in our care.
Member benefits include:

Participating in monthly board meetings.

Voting on the organizational bylaws and the membership of the board of directors annually.*

Ability to purchase early and/or discounted ticket to WCHS events.
We currently offer two memberships:

Individual membership for $40
-
Senior/student membership for $30.**
Only donations specifically designated as membership dues will qualify toward membership.
All memberships expire on June 30th of the following year.
*In order to vote at the annual meeting, members must be 18 years of age or older on the date of the annual meeting.
**Senior memberships are available to individuals age 65 and older. Student memberships are available to full time high school and college students who are at least 18 years of age.
